Storybooks and Montages
Digital Storybooks or Montages are essentially
stories that are viewed through a digital means (DVD or
CD-Rom). YIC can create a digital storybook for your special
event (wedding, birthday, anniversary, etc.) to cherish as a
loving keepsake forever. Additional popular uses for digital
storybooks include showing a video of the bride and groom
during the reception or rehearsal dinner, giving a video as
a gift for Mother's Day, Father's Day, an Anniversary, a
holiday or any other special event. You can even
create a Family History movie to tell the story of your
family's history for all of your family to cherish forever!

You, the client, simply provide YIC with any pictures,
videos, songs, text, ideas, and storylines (as little or as
much as you wish). You then sit back and wait for the
treasure to arrive! YIC guarantees your absolute
satisfaction as well as the BEST PRICES in the market today.
If you find a better price for the same service simply let
us know and we will beat that price by 10%!
Remember, our prices include EVERYTHING including
transitions, introductions, conclusions, photo formatting,
music, shipping, and everything else necessary to create
that perfect video!
In other words, you simply send us your materials, we create
the video masterpiece, and we ship everything back to
you...ALL FOR ONE LOW PRICE!
Every Storybook package includes one revision. So you
receive your movie, watch it, and send us any changes you
wish us to make. We make the changes and send the
final DVD to you! However, if your project is a 'rush'
job (i.e. you need the final product inside of one week),
then all revisions are subject to a revision fee as shown
below.
For reference; pictures generally take 6-8 seconds each,
and introduction is generally 30-90 seconds, and a
conclusion is generally 30-90 seconds. So if your
Storybook were all pictures then a 10 minute video probably
could hold around 50 or 60 pictures.

you decide to reduce the number for the final video):

Please note that there is a maximum
of 50 pictures scanned per 5 minutes of montage package (so
if you get the 11-14 minute package then the most pictures
scanned would be 140).
Family History Video:
A
family history video is essentially a storybook montage
(like above) that tells the story of your family's
history...and who better to tell that than you and your
family! You simply send us video interviews of you
and/or other family members with stories, insights,
comments, jokes, traditions, or any other information about
your family and/or your ancestors. You also send us
pictures to supplement the video footage or other family
video clips.
Think
about your family gathering around an anniversary party
watching a video of how your parents met and the great
things that have happened in your life and their lives!
These are FANTASTIC videos to show at anniversary or
birthday parties!
And
as with our other montage packages, there is ONE fee
depending on the size of the video...no hidden costs.
The only additional cost would be if you prefer us to do the
videotaping of the interview for you. But we have
found that most families have access to a digital camcorder
so they can set it up in their own homes and save the $200
per hour labor cost!!
Also, some of our clients have everything organized the way
they want it (this segment of video followed by these four
pictures followed by this segment of the interview...).
If you have those specific preferences then we'll just call
it a montage so you don't pay extra for you doing the extra
work of going through the footage and deciding on the parts
to include!
